Limousin Herd
The Limousin Herd was also re-established after Foot and Mouth. Our foundation cows were bought privately from the famous Luttrellstown Herd in Southern Ireland. We have had subsequent success selling bulls at Perth to 7,500 gns for Glenturk Upstanding and 21,000gns at Carlisle for Glenturk Ultrasolid. |

Rocksolid was purchased at Perth February 2002 for 12,000gns. His first son, Glenturk Ultrasolid was Junior Champion and Reserve Overall at Carlisle in October 2004 and sold for 21,000gns to the Brockhurst Herd. His second son was sold for 7500gns at Perth in February 2005. Another Rocksolid son, Glenturk Astounding was sold for 6000gns at Carlisle to the Shannas Herd. Rocksolid has left us some exceptional females with tremendous power and width. |
